To remove The Visual Basic Script Association perform the following:
  1. From your desktop, double-click the My Computer icon.
  2. From the Menu, select View > Folder Options.
  3. Select the File Types tab.
  4. Select VBScript Script File from the file types list.
  5. Click Remove.
  6. If you get a confirmation dialog, select Yes.
