Spammer Jeffery Goodin has been found guilty of violating the federal anti-spam law known as CAN-SPAM and faces a possible 101 years in a federal prison. Although this just one of a number of offenses Goodin committed. 

Jeffery Brett Goodin, 45 of Azusa California was found guilty for running a phishing scheme that tricked AOL users into handing over personal information. It was said that Goodin then used the compromised information to go on a spending spree.

Goodin was convicted for an offense under the 2003 CAN-SPAM Act as well as 10 other offenses including wire fraud, misuse of the AOL trademark and attempted witness harassment.

Goodin is scheduled to be sentenced in June.
