Back in October 2004 the United States Secret Service took down the carding site known as ‘shadowcrew.com’, it seems however that the site may be back. In the operation by the Secret Service known as Operation Firewall some 28 people where arrested in connection with the ‘shadowcrew.com’ site for various offences including identity theft, computer fraud, credit card fraud and conspiracy. At the time the suspects where believed to have trafficked in some 1.7 million stolen credit card numbers and accrued at least $4.3 million in losses for the credit card companies.

Now it seems the gang is back or at least someone emulating them at ‘shadow-crew.net’, like the last operation we hope law enforcement get on their case swiftly.
