We've just completed a overhaul of the Virus.Org site, we've moved the CMS we've previously used PostNuke to another solution.  As part of the overhaul we've taken the opportunity to strip out various areas of the site to redevelop them, also to clear the user database to the bare minimum. If you previously had an account you will need to remake the account and revalidate.
