It seems there is yet another Word 0-Day on the loose and yes it seems it is being exploited actively in targeted attacks. 

Microsoft have acknowledged the existence of the vulnerability and have posted an advisory 933052 to detail the vulnerability. The vulnerability affects Word 2000 and Word 2002, it apparently can cause a Denial of Service and potentially Code Execution.

Details are petty scarce and it is currently under investigation by Microsoft so it is one of those watch this space situations.
