Anti-Spyware researcher Benjamin Edelman has had his web site suffer a Distributed Denial of Service attack this week and for a period it was taken off the net during the attack. Benjamin who has published a lot of work that has been highly critical of companies and organisations that peddle Spyware suffered a sustained attack which crippled his site for two days. Benjamins work includes an enlightening article about how Verisign could stop Drive by downloads which you can read here.

He was able to get back online with the help from Paul Vixie of the Internet Systems Consortium and his new host Operations, Analysis, and Research Center (OARC) at the Internet Systems Consortium. His previous web hosting provider said that the attack was the worst that they had suffer at some 600MB+ per second.
