It seems that NASA laptops that went to the International Space Station were infected with a bit of Malware by the name of Gammima.AG.

The worm that was initially discovered in 2007 is a bit of a password thief for online gaming accounts. Luckily for the Astronauts the ISS didn't get infected, probably because it doesn't run Windows. Either that or they have up to date Virus Scanners on on there, which would be puzzling because the ISS doesn't have a direct Interweb connection.

Most likely the bit of malware made it aboard via an infected USB stick or something similar. It also seems this is not an isolated incident of a Computer Virus making it onto the ISS according to NASA.
